The PS5 launch title and former PlayStation exclusive Bugsnax is coming to Xbox Game Pass and Steam later this month. The first-person adventure game was originally released on November 12, 2020 and sees players having to catch a variety of edible creatures and feed them to Grumpuses that live on the island
When will Bugsnax release on Switch, Xbox Game Pass and PC?
In a post on the official Xbox website, Young Horses developer Kevin Zuhn confirmed that Bugsnax is set to launch on Switch, Xbox One and Xbox Series X on April 28. The game will also come to Xbox Game Pass on the same day on consoles and PC. Players will also be able to pick up the game on PC via Steam for the first time, as it was previously exclusive to the Epic Games Store.
As part of the release, Bugsnax is also getting a free expansion. The Isle of Bigsnax adds some three hours of content to the game as well as a brand new island to explore. Meanwhile, the expansion will allow players to unlock new furniture, accessories, and hats. Zuhn revealed that this new version will come with lots of extra enhancements that will be added to the PlayStation version via updates. While this is the first time that Young Horses have announced a release date for Bugsnax on other platforms, fans have known that it was coming to Steam for some time. Last year, the studio revealed that it was working hard to bring the game to PC but made no mention of the game coming to Xbox or Nintendo Switch.
