Tom Holland Venom suit for Spider-Man 4 revealed by MCU artist

An MCU artist has revealed a potential Spider-Man 4 Tom Holland Venom suit with the tease about what the sequel to last month’s phenomenal Spider-Man: No Way Home might be like. The concept art shows Tom Holland’s Peter Parker wearing a Spider-Man 4 black symbiote suit in the style of the recent Venom movies, such as last year’s Venom: Let There Be Carnage. Could it actually happen in the next Spider-Man movie though?

Spoilers for the end of Spider-Man: No Way Home follow!

Is this the Tom Holland Venom suit for Spider-Man 4?

The concept art for a Tom Holland Venom suit for the next Spider-Man MCU movie was designed and revealed by Marvel artist Thomas du Crest on his Twitter channel, with two variations: with and without the mask. Thomas du Crest has served as a concept artist for a number of Marvel movies, including the last two Spider-Man movies No Way Home and Far From Home, Avengers Endgame, and is currently working on Doctor Strange and the Multiverse of Madness and Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania.

Thomas du Crest is still apparently waiting to get permission to show his work on No Way Home but in the meantime posted the art below showing Tom Holland infected by the Venom symbiote. The black suit — last seen worn by Tobey Maguire in 2007’s Spider-Man 3 — is definitely in the style of the original comics version but with a veiny appearance closer to the recent Venom movies. Tom Hardy’s Venom, of course, appeared at the very end of No Way Home with a scene that suggested that the Venom symbiote was now loose in the MCU, so the artist’s suggestion that this suit is “what might come next” in Spider-Man 4 is very possible.

Regardless, Spider-Man: No Way Home’s ending clearly has some hints towards Spider-Man 4 and may even be setting up Miles Morales to take over from Holland’s Peter Parker.
