To get the outfits celebrating iconic PlayStation games in Ghost of Tsushima, players just have to accomplish a simple task. Completing one Story or Survival mode mission in Ghost of Tsushima: Legends will unlock an outfit.
Players can unlock outfits by playing through a mission with the following classes:
- Samurai → God of War
- Hunter → Horizon: Zero Dawn
- Ronin → Shadow of the Colossus
- Assassin → Bloodborne
So, to get all four skins, players must have unlocked each class in Ghost of Tsushima: Legends and play with them one time.
For those who haven’t played Ghost of Tsushima, it’s one of our top-rated games of the year. As one of the PS4’s swansongs, it’s a gorgeous game that has the effect of transporting players into a virtual Kurosawa film.
The surprise multiplayer mode, added in a post-launch update, was described on PlayStation Blog like this by Sucker Punch Productions Senior Game Designer Darren Bridges:
Legends is an entirely new experience — it’s a separate mode that doesn’t follow Jin or the companions from his journey but instead focuses on four warriors who have been built up as legends in stories told by the people of Tsushima. Ghost of Tsushima’s single-player campaign focuses on an open world and exploring the natural beauty of the island, but Legends is haunting and fantastical, with locations and enemies inspired by Japanese folk tales and mythology and an emphasis on cooperative combat and action.
