EA Partners, the branch of Electronic Arts that publishes games by outside developers, is reportedly closing.
The news comes by way of Game Informer, who cites multiple unnamed sources claiming that the label will be shut down. Fortunately, it looks like this won't impact the upcoming releases of Fuse and Respawn Entertainment's project.
The EA Partners label was responsible for publishing a number of noteworthy titles including the Crysis games, Portal 2, the Rock Band franchise, and many more.
It's safe to assume that the supposed closure of EA Partners has everything to do with the leadership change and new strategies in place for the next generation of gaming at Electronic Arts. We still have yet to receive confirmation from the publisher that this is happening, so stay tuned for official word.
