E3 2019 | Cadence of Hyrule release date set for June 13

You may have been waiting with bated breath for a Cadence of Hyrule release date during the Nintendo Direct at E3 2019. You needn’t have bothered. The rhythm roguelike mashup between Crypt of the NecroDancer and a little-known series by the name of The Legend of Zelda is available to buy in a couple of days: June 13, 2019. We’ve even got Cadence of Hyrule price details down below, too. And you won’t have to fork over too many rupees as you might have originally thought to get your hands on it.

So, you could be playing Cadence of Hyrule in a few days, but I digress. Nintendo steathily dropped the release date into our laps midway through the Nintendo Direct. The game previously had a release window of June 2019, so perhaps it isn’t the biggest surprise in the world, but it sure is a welcome one.

Cadence of Hyrule release date and price announced

As for the small matter of the Cadence of Hyrule price, you’re looking at $24.99. That’s right, it’s not a full price adventure but looks anything but half-baked in the footage we’ve seen so far. The hypnotic beats, combined with the Zelda style of dungeon crawling seems to work effortless well, and is another sign that Nitnendo is becoming increasingly more trustworthy when handing its IPs out to third-party developers. Brace Yourself Games is taking the reins here, and it could amount to the most unique Zelda yet.
