New Games for PS4, Switch, Xbox, and PC | February 25 – March 3

There are plenty of exciting new games for Switch, PS4, Xbox One, and PC coming out this week, with February’s run of big games continuing into March. This week sees the release of Dead or Alive 6, The LEGO Movie 2 Videogame, and Trials Rising. Ubisoft and Red Lynx return to their hugely popular and addictive physics-based bike series, tasking players with maneuvering around a series of absurdly difficult levels and making it to the finish line in record time. Trials Rising places up to 8 players in a battle across a variety of treacherous levels, from Mount Everest through to Medieval castles, and looks to up the ante with a new Challenger Mode that places players against rivals of a similar skill level from across the globe, offering fun rewards for beating them.

The LEGO Movie 2 has been warmly received, and the movie tie-in game will give kids and adults alike something to play after leaving the theater. Based on the events of the popular sequel, The LEGO Movie 2 Videogame tasks players with saving Brickburg, after it’s left in ruins following an alien invasion. Emmet, Lucy, and LEGO Batman recruit the aid of a bunch of new characters such as General Mayhem and Rex Dangerfest, embarking on a platforming adventure with a ton of unlockables and plenty of stuff to build.

Dead or Alive is one of the biggest fighting game series around, and this long-awaited sequel is exactly what the doctor ordered. DoA6 continues the fight with a brand new DoA Central mode, allowing players to customize their fighters before taking the battle online. The Break Gauge system is also new, giving players the opportunity to carry out special skills such as the Break Blow and Break Hold. The fighting game community has its sights firmly locked on Dead or Alive 6, and you should, too.
