Community Wednesdays: Describe How You Got Into Gaming in 10 Words or Less

Every gamer has an origin story. Whether it was playing a gaming console for the first time at a friend’s house, or trying a demo at GameStop, for many of us it was that first moment that stood out as something special, and preluded a lifetime of immersive entertainment.

In this week’s Community Wednesdays we want to get an idea of how you and other community members fell into this hobby. To spice things up we’re limiting the number of words you can use.

The rules this week are:

  • Describe how you got into gaming in 10 words or less.

My answer: Santa Claus tossed an NES down my chimney.
