One of Mass Effect 3's best characters was tragically hidden away in expansion content. Nyreen Kandros was the first female Turian to appear in a Mass Effect game, popping up only in the Omega DLC.
Even though she only played a very small part in the series' overall story, she more than made up for it with her big personality. During the short time players spend with her in the game, it's clear that adding female characters from various alien races can really impact the Mass Effect world in a big way.
