A List Of The Best Panels That PAX Prime 2015 Has To Offer

PAX Prime is ready to kick off in just three days. While many are excited to get their hands on yet-to-be-released games, the real highlight of the show will be its cast of panels. From the moment the show starts until its doors close, there will be live panels for both people at home and those at the show to enjoy.

Now that the full schedule for PAX Prime released, below you will find the most noteworthy panels during each day of the show.

 

Day One: Friday (8/28)

11:30AM – A Mighty Chat with Keiji Inafune [Hydra Theatre]

Storied game creator Keiji Inafune returns to PAX to finish what he started here two years ago: his Kickstart-ed action game Mighty No. 9!

12:00PM – ​The Power of Games: Games Influence our Lives for the Better [Sphinx Theatre]

This panel will look at specific examples of how video games have influenced our childhood, and how they continue to impact our adulthood.

1:30PM – My Favorite Terrible Game [Spinx Theatre]

Join game journalists and developers for an hour of startling revelations and deep secrets, as they discuss that one incredibly bad game they simply adore.

3:00PM – ​Just Cause 3: The Playground of Creative Destruction [Sphinx Theatre]

Hosted by Greg Miller, you'll learn the how they created the beautiful 400 square mile sandbox packed with possibility, compelling enemies and the largest, most realistic explosions and destruction ever seen in a videogame.

4:30PM – ​Deus Ex: Mankind Divided: Bringing Adam Jensen to life [Sphinx Theatre]

This will provide insight on what it takes to fully realize a character such as Adam Jensen, an augmented covert agent, on the new generation of consoles and PC.

8:30PM – Hitman: The Art of Assassination [Hydra Theatre]

Join HITMAN Art Director Jonathan Rowe and Lead Writer Michael Vogt for an hour long journey into the design philosophy behind the visual and narrative universe of the world of assassination.

We'll share our glorious moments, our horror stories, and predictions for the next year.

3:00PM – ​Obsidian Entertainment Presents: A Pillars of Eternity Retrospective Discussion! [Hydra Theatre]

Get an exclusive, never-before-seen look into Pillars of Eternity's creation – jam-packed with stories about the team's successes and failures as they created the Kickstarter-backed game.
