Broken Age Getting Physical Retail Release

Broken Age, the two-part adventure game from developer Double Fine, will be getting a physical release at retail later this year.

When Broken Age: Act 2 launches in early 2015, a disc-based version of the game for PC, Mac, and Linux will be available on store shelves. Distribution company Nordic Games is making this possible, so all you collectors out there have them to thank.

"I am very excited about the retail version of Broken Age and also relieved, as having a widely distributed, physical copy of the game will make it more safe from solar flares and EMP bombs and stuff like that," Double Fine President and CEO Tim Schafer said. "As long as people store their disks in fire proof safes. People do that, right?"

The concluding act of Double Fine's adventure should be launching soon, so stay tuned to GameRevolution for future coverage.
