20th Century Fox announced several dates for their upcoming film lineup in 2016 and 2017, and of particular note to gamers is the inclusion of the long-awaited Assassin's Creed film.
The title is still tied to Michael Fassbender (Inglourious Basterds, 12 Years a Slave) in the starring role, with Justin Kurzel (Snowtown) slated to direct. The film is slated for a December 21, 2016 release, which will put it one week behind the launch of the newest Star Wars film.
That scheduling sure sounds promising. Then again, it's a video game movie. What could possibly go wrong?
