Shantae and the Pirate’s Curse Wii U Release Date Announced

Developer WayForward has announced that its 3DS title Shantae and the Pirate's Curse will be coming to Wii U on December 25.

The title will be available for download via the Wii U eShop for $20 and feature a number of improvements. Wii U owners will be able to enjoy the benefits of off-TV play using the GamePad, though, the game also supports the Classic Controller Pro and Wii U Pro Controller, too.

Shantae and the Pirate's Curse on Wii U will also have an unlockable Pirate Mode and multiple endings for those looking for that extra bit of replay value.
