The GTA 6 trailer has been something many have waited a long time for. While it doesn’t reveal an exact release date, we do get 90 seconds of teaser, showing us what the eagerly awaited installment will (likely) look like. Currently, the game is expected to launch sometime in 2025.
However, PC users may be upset to learn that parent company Take-Two Interactive – otherwise known as T2 or T2 Games – has confirmed Grand Theft Auto 6 will be on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. No other platforms have been mentioned yet.
Further details in the press release state that the new game will head to “the state of Leonida, home to the neon-soaked streets of Vice City and beyond.” GTA 6 is described as the “biggest, most immersive evolution of the Grand Theft Auto series yet.”
Many gamers will no doubt have flashbacks to when GTA 5 was released way back in 2013. Initially a console release, a PC port was eventually launched, but only in mid-2015. Given this, it could be as late as 2027 until the sixth game makes its way to PC, but that’s just speculation at this stage.
Hopefully, Rockstar or Take-Two will soon have further information regarding this, but for now, GTA 6 is coming to current-gen PlayStation and Xbox only.
