Far Cry 4 Goes Gold

Far Cry 4, the upcoming Himalayan-set shooter from the folks at Ubisoft, has officially gone gold. Development on the game has wrapped, and now it's just a matter of pressing the discs and shipping them off to retailers.

During the publisher's earnings call, Ubi revealed that it plans to sell a whopping 6 million copies of Far Cry 4 in its first year. That's no small feat, but considering the lifetime sales of Far Cry 3 clock in at around 10 million, it's not out of the realm of possibility.

Far Cry 4 launches on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PC, Xbox 360, and PS3 on November 18. Will you be one of the expected millions to pick up a copy of Ubisoft Montreal's latest work? Let us know in the comments below.
