Dragon Ball Xenoverse Shows New Gameplay in Tokyo Game Show Trailer

Dragon Ball Xenoverse lets you create your own character, beat the stuffing out of friends and your favorite heroes from the Dragon Ball universe, and appeared at Tokyo Game Show 2014 over the weekend.

Bandai Namco games shared the trailer above revealing four new characters and detailing the proverbial savior of them all, you. Dragon Ball Xenoverse seems to reach as deep into the franchise's canon as possible in order to allow fans the opportunity to carve their own path through the history.

While it's been some time since I last watched Dragon Ball or the Z and GT series that follow, it'll be interesting to see how much of the franchise can be altered by your character's actions in-game. We'll have more as the title nears release in 2015 for PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and PC.
