Someone with access to the Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS rom has apparently leaked a photo of 3DS hardware showing the full character roster available for players on the handheld with the duck-and-dog duo from NES classic Duck Hunt in tow.
While we've been delighted to hear about many of the characters in the next Super Smash Bros., this particular character may have been added for two reasons:
- Someone at Nintendo's event asked if the developers were going to reintroduce Ice Climbers as a playable "pair" of characters.
- Duck Hunt is awesome and Nintendo want to offer an NES Zapper peripheral designed specifically around what's sure to be a unique moveset.
