Sony Japan Holding PS4 Press Conference Next Month

Sony Computer Entertainment Japan Asia or SCEJA will hold a press conference to discuss the future of PlayStation 4 development and ownership on September 1st, though we don't yet know what the company will reveal as of yet.

Sony Japan's web page promises a livestream of the event with a note for fans to participate in discussion and reaction online via Twitter using the hashtag #0901PlayStation though I'm sure most of the tweets would be along the lines of "Wow, I can't believe they announced that one thing #0901PlayStation".

While we'll have to wait until September 1st to find out more about Sony's plans, NeoGAF users have started speculating and building hope for their favorite games to appear at the conference, including Persona 5, The Last Guardian, and Dragon's Dogma 2.

What do you think Sony's Eastern-facing press conference will cover? How much of the news can we expect to apply to Western PlayStation 4 owners?
