PS Vita Exclusive Freedom Wars Gets Western Release Date

Freedom Wars, the upcoming PlayStation Vita exclusive from Sony's Japan Studio, Shift, and Dimps, has finally got a release date for the western audience.

According to IGN, Freedom Wars arrives on store shelves (and digitally) in North America on October 28th, and will be available first as a digital download in Europe on the 29th and two days later at retail. Better yet, picking up the game won't even break the bank, as it's priced affordably at just $29.99.

Here's a look at the box art.

The game has proven to be a major hit in Japan, and while the western audience is a completely different market, perhaps Freedom Wars will prove to find some success outside of its home country as well.
