Mario Kart 8 App Available Now in Android App Stores

Mario Kart 8 has torn up the sales charts with over 2 million units sold in its first month of sales, but Nintendo want gamers to know every trick to a first place finish just like the good old days though you'll get more stats out of the new Mario Kart app.

Nintendo have dubbed the Android-exclusive, at least at launch, Configure MK8 and anyone can download the app for free.

If you don't like sifting through every kart item before choosing your racer (and I'd think most fans have a favorite at this point, with Yoshi on a Yoshi-looking rocket bike with a Yoshi-themed wheel always getting a laugh or two) you can check out all the different stats with the app.

You can pick different characters and see how their baseline speed, acceleration, and weight stats balance against each other with different tires and gliders too. I think the user interface looks really cool but I'll have to wait until the iOS release.

Nintendo also included a FAQ for players who want to read into all of the different effects those metered stats have. For more, download the app directly from Google Play.
