Need for Speed Unbound Pre-Order Bonus, Palace Edition Detailed

The Need for Speed Unbound pre-order bonus and Palace Edition have been revealed, alongside the spiffy reveal trailer with a cool anime artstyle. The trailer confirms multiple screenshots that were leaked yesterday from retailer Neowing. Releasing on December 2, 2022 for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, the next main Need for Speed entry will be open to pre-orders through to November 29, 2022.

List of Need for Speed Unbound pre-order bonuses

Here is what you’ll get for pre-ordering the game at your chosen storefront:

  • New Driving Effect
  • A License Plate
  • Banner Artwork and Sticker
  • $150,000 in your bank for Multiplayer

If you’re willing to spend just $10 more, though, you can claim the upgraded Palace Edition at $79.99 with the following bonuses:

  • 4 new custom cars, with one being a Golf GTI (possibly designed by A$AP Rocky)
  • New gassy Driving Effects
  • Mashman Decals and License Plate (different than the License Plate from the pre-order bonus)
  • Exclusive character pose, banner artwork, and clothing pack with 20 items

Need for Speed Unbound will run at 4K 60fps on Frostbite and feature a free-roaming open world called Lakeshore, according to IGN. Given that the game will release in just two months, there will be no demo or closed beta. It will also have an offline single-player mode and feature cross-play multiplayer, albeit without cross-progression.
