PlayStation Store Outs Alleged InFamous: First Light Release Date [Update: Sucker Punch Confirms]

[Update] InFamous: Second Son developer Sucker Punch Productions has confirmed that the upcoming DLC for its PS4-exclusive title will be launching on August 26th. I guess the premature PlayStation Store listing was correct after all!

[Original] InFamous: First Light, the upcoming standalone add-on to Sucker Punch's first PlayStation 4 exclusive, will launch on August 26th, according to a listing on the PlayStation Store.

Sony first revealed this Fetch-centric downloadable content during its E3 media briefing earlier this month. In case you don't already know, the add-on content stars Abigail Walker, better known as Fetch, who has the ability to control neon. Sounds like an awfully cool super power to have, no?

You can pre-order the game right now through Sony's online store. It'll set you back $14.99, which, if you ask me, is a small price to pay for a totally valid excuse to revisit Sucker Punch's fully-realized recreation of Seattle.

Will you be picking up First Light when it launches later this year? Bear in mind that without "official confirmation" we can't say for certain that the game will be out on August 26th, despite the fact that Sony already has it listed on its store with that very release date. That said, something tells me confirmation from the PlayStation manufacturer isn't far off.
