Ubisoft has announced that Watch Dogs is now its fastest-selling game of all time. The open-world action title has managed to sell more copies in 24 hours than any other game in the publisher's portfolio.
The game's creative director, Jonathan Morin, expressed his delight in Watch Dogs' day one success over on the publisher's official blog, saying:
I once said that the buzz around Watch Dogs was driven by the incredible passion of our early fans. Today we broke the record for the biggest first day sales in Ubisoft history. I can never say it enough: thank you everyone! We love you all for your passion and your creativity.
