Just yesterday, Microsoft announced that it will be bringing Xbox One to China this September in an effort to expand its reach in the console market. However, Alice Returns developer American McGee doesn't think it will prove to be a successful endeavor for the Big M.
In fact, McGee went so far as to label the move a "blunder" in a post on his Facebook page, adding that "it's a good thing Microsoft is rolling in cash, because they've just made announcement of a plan that's going to cost them dearly."
He then went on to explain why the console will ultimately fail in the region, saying, "Between the ages of 3-22 years of age they are heads-down with study, school, and extra-curricular activities that will increase their chances of competing successfully against others in the super-hot Chinese job market. Those that aren't studying don't have money to spend on a console."
Do you think Microsoft's latest console will be a success in China? Apparently there's no supply shortage….
