Outplay Entertainment Unleash Monster Legacy for iOS

I didn't spend as much time at GDC as I would have liked to last week, especially as one iOS title I missed brings monster collection to iOS in a big way. Monster Legacy gives players a chance to solve puzzles and explore dungeons while training critters for battle. This is like saying peanut butter and jelly was never enough, and now we need to include some cookie butter and maybe dip the whole thing in chocolate while we're at it.

Monsters you use in-game can transform and learn new moves, while in-game currency allows you to customize your character and your monster habitat. Better still, Monster Legacy is totally free-to-play and offers 70 quests at launch. There are also more than 100 unique monsters to become hopelessly attached to and battle with friends. The title also has a vibrant art-style all its own, which you can see in the gallery below.

Check out Monster Legacy on iTunes. Android users, you'll have to wait it out for a port.
