Gamer Earns 500 Platinum Trophies, Makes a Real-Life Platinum Trophy

Blackangel887462 is a big time trophy hunter, shooting for the most awarded PlayStation gamer ever. He recently achieved his 500th platinum trophy on the next-generation PlayStation 4 console, in Killzone: Shadow Fall.

On this auspicious date in history, we document that one gamer did a bunch of great stuff and even gave him or herself a medal. Blackangel writes:

On occasion of my recently earned 500th platinum trophy I hereby proudly present you something that is absolutely unique in the world and has never been there before:

A real platinum trophy!

My trophy hunt mainly focuses on platinum trophies and therefore I wanted to have a physical replica of it in my glass showcase.

Blackangel went to a bunch of different companies in the hopes of turning his virtual accomplishments into a reality, and finally one agreed to work with him on the shape and composition. The circular piece in the middle basically "hovers" amid the whooshing of gaming greatness.

While this very well-established trophy hunter is all too happy to talk about the development process, he or she remains mum on the exact cost all this gaming has had on his or her social life.
