FIFA 23 Glitches Bugs

Funny FIFA 23 Glitches Showcase Player, Frame Rate, UI, and Physics Bugs

It’s the first day of early access, and as usual we’ve already got a slew of FIFA 23 glitches. We have bugs ranging from players going nuts on the field, graphical pop-in, UI hiccups, bizarre physics, and more serious frame rate issues. Some will recognize a few of these glitches as holdovers from last year’s FIFA game. Currently, there are so many players in early access that the FIFA 23 servers are down. Given that EA offers early 3-day access of its most popular sports games with an EA Play membership or as an included bonus for getting the Ultimate Edition, the developer can hopefully compensate users promptly.

They’re probably many more hilarious glitches out there, but here are some that we’ve come across while perusing the game’s official Reddit and through searches on Twitter.

First and foremost is this player flopping on the ground after taking a slight bump to the shoulder.

And then there’s an upside-down kick that knocks players over like dominos.

And here’s a goalie that has superhuman foot strength.

And one player that can soar three times his height just to block a ball.

Dance celebrations can get pretty wild too.

On a more serious note, though, more than several graphical and performance errors have plagued the game. A few are rather harmless, like this sudden blue-and-red ray burst of flickering polygons.

Or this wobbly goal in the game’s practice session.

That said, frame rate stuttering on the PC version of the game is far more serious. It’s uncertain why this could be happening, but since it looks the person’s rig is up to snuff, it’s probably the network code.

Last but not least, there’s a problem with pre-game elements remaining on the field during actual play.

In other news, a new Gotham Knights trailer reveals PC features like 4K and ray-tracing, and the Assassin’s Creed VR project has supposedly not been cancelled despite not appearing for two years.
