Harley Quinn Season 4 Confirmed at HBO Max, Writer Promoted To Showrunner

DC’s Harley Quinn is getting a fourth season at HBO Max. This adult animated dark comedy superhero TV series has been running since 2019 and follows Harley’s misadventures after breaking up with the Joker. This is what we currently know about Harley Quinn season 4.

Harley Quinn Renewed for Season 4

With the announcement of Harley Quinn season 4, this means fans of the popular DC series will be getting more of the adventures of Harley Quinn (Kaley Cuoco) and Poison Ivy (Lake Bell). In season 3, this killer couple made plans to terraform the planet, and their story is yet to be resolved. The news of season 4 comes to us in the midst of season 3, with the season finale arriving on September 15.

Deadline reported that with the new season comes a new showrunner for the series. The show is currently run by Justin Halpern and Patrick Schumacker, who developed the show with Dean Lorey. However, season 4 will see Sarah Peters take on the role of showrunner. She has been a writer on the show since season 1 and currently works as a consulting producer on the show.

Halpern and Schumacker stated, “We are ecstatic that HBO Max wants the story of Harley and Ivy to continue. And we are equally thrilled that this next season will be in great hands with Sarah Peters as our showrunner and Ceci Aranovich overseeing animation production, as they have both greatly influenced the show with their brilliance since the beginning.”

Harley Quinn’s voice cast includes Kaley Cuoco, Lake Bell, Alan Tudyk, Diedrich Bader, Ron Funches, Tony Hale, Matt Oberg, Christopher Meloni, and J.B. Smoove. It is likely that the fourth season will follow a new storyline, but for now, audiences will have to keep watching to see how Harley and Ivy attempt to transform Gotham into an Eden paradise.

In other news, the Winnie the Pooh slasher film finally has a trailer, and this is where and when you can buy The Sopranos Funko Pops.
