She-Hulk Episode 2: Wolverine Introduced to the MCU With Easter Egg

With a new episode of She-Hulk: Attorney at Law arriving on Disney+, fans have discovered many new easter eggs, including one that confirms the MCU debut of an iconic character. The Marvel Cinematic Universe is always throwing in details for eagle-eyed viewers to notice, and She-Hulk episode 2 offers a few new examples of this, including one that may foreshadow a new MCU development that could pay off years in the future.

During a scene in the new episode, Jennifer Walters is on her computer looking for new jobs. If you look at the side panel on the website, you can see a few fun easter eggs. The most eye-catching is a news headline that reads, “Man fights with metal claws in bar brawl.” This is a very clear allusion to the iconic X-Men character, Wolverine, a superhero with metal claws. Fans may even remember Wolverine getting into a bar brawl when he was first introduced in the 2000 film X-Men.

This is an exceptionally exciting easter egg, as it is clear that the MCU is introducing the X-Men into their growing franchise. It’s an idea that has been teased a lot this year, with the appearance of Patrick Stewart as Professor Charles Xavier in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. Furthermore, the season finale of Ms. Marvel seemingly confirmed that Kamala Khan is a mutant. The only question is whether Hugh Jackman will be returning to the role or if a new actor will be cast as Weapon X.

Other fun easter eggs in this shot include a shoe advertisement for Iron Man Three’s, which implies that people in the MCU can buy superhero-themed shoes similar to Jordans and Kyries. The other news headline reads, “Why there is a giant statue of a man sticking out of the ocean,” a nod to the ending of Eternals where this happens. This makes She-Hulk the first MCU installment since that film to acknowledge these events.

MCU easter eggs have existed for years, and it’s always exciting to see the prospect of Wolverine making his debut into the growing universe of superheroes.

In other news, the Fortnite late game arena mode will return later this month, and the release date and time for She-Hulk episode 3 have been revealed.
