Fortnite Late Game Arena Mode to Return This Month

The popular Late Game Arena mode will be making its return to Fortnite next week. The mode, which competitive players use to practice for upcoming tournaments, will be coming back in the middle of Chapter 3 Season 3. However, details of other content arriving at the same time as the mode have not been revealed.

When will Late Game Arena come back in Fortnite?

Late Game Arena will return in Fortnite on August 30 according to simultaneous leaks from Hypex and Fortnite Competitive. The mode follows the tournament format where players are awarded Hype points for kills and their placement at the end of the match. The last time this mode was available in Fortnite, it could be played Solo or in Trios, but the limited-time game mode is also set up for Duos. The mode offers different points depending on the type of match:

Solos

  • Victory Royale – 180 Hype points
  • Top 5 Finish – 120 Hype Points
  • Top 15 Finish – 90 Hype Points
  • Top 25 Finish – 60 Hype Points
  • Eliminations – 20 Hype Points each

Duos

  • Victory Royale – 180 Hype points
  • Top 3 Finish – 120 Hype Points
  • Top 7 Finish – 90 Hype Points
  • Top 12 Finish – 60 Hype Points
  • Eliminations – 10 Hype Points each

Trios

  • Victory Royale – 180 Hype points
  • Top 2 Finish – 120 Hype Points
  • Top 4 Finish – 90 Hype Points
  • Top 8 Finish – 60 Hype Points
  • Eliminations – 7 Hype Points each

When Late Game Arena arrives in Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 3 next week, it’s unknown which of the team settings will be making their return. There are no other details about the upcoming Update 21.50 either, but patch notes for Battle Royale, Creative, and Saves The Day will be made available on the day by Epic Games.
