The Fall Guys Abstergo’s Challenge limited-time event has begun today, July 7, and it features the return of the Sweet Thieves mode. For the next five days, players need to complete several challenges in the returning game mode to get rewards such as the Apple of Eden backpack and other Assassin’s Creed-themed items.
Fall Guys Abstergo’s Challenge event challenges and rewards
All of the Fall Guys Abstergo’s Challenge event challenges are based around the game’s returning Sweet Thieves mode. The blue team tries to steal all of the candy while the yellow team tries to stop them by grabbing the players themselves. If the thieves move slowly enough they can turn invisible and there’s a button in the center of the map that will automatically free all of the captured thieves. Blue team wins if they manage to steal all of the candy. Yellow team wins if they capture all of the thieves or if the timer runs out before blue team completes their objective. Players will need to take part in the game mode on both teams to complete all of the challenges:
- Carry candy for 30 seconds in Sweet Thieves!
- Carry candy for 75 seconds in Sweet Thieves!
- Press the button as a Thief in Sweet Thieves!
- Win Sweet Thieves! (10)
- Play as a Thief in Sweet Thieves! (3)
- Win as a Thief in Sweet Thieves!
- Play as a Guardian in Sweet Thieves!
- Win as a Guardian in Sweet Thieves!
- As a Guardian grab Thieves in Sweet Thieves! (5)
- As a Guardian grab Thieves in Sweet Thieves! (20)
Each of the challenges has a reward of 100 tokens, meaning players get a total of 1,000 tokens for completing all of the ten challenges. These are the rewards players will unlock for completing the challenges and earning tokens:
- Animus Trainee nickname – 100 total tokens
- 200 Kudos – 300 total tokens
- Apple of Eden banner – 500 total tokens
- Animus Synchronising pattern – 700 total tokens
- Apple of Eden backpack costume upper – 1,000 total tokens
Players have until July 12 to get enough tokens to grab the Apple of Eden backpack and all of the other rewards. According to the official Twitter account, “last one to get the Apple of Eden backpack is big stink.”
In other news, the Hex Rival Pro controller has been announced for PS5 and is aimed at competitive players. Elsewhere, God of War series creator David Jaffe says the Ragnarok team should be “crunching like motherf***ers” to get the game done on time.
