Ark 2 reappeared during the Xbox & Bethesda Games Show on Sunday, and its star Vin Diesel seems keen to jump on the promotional bandwagon. Not only does he claim real gamers have to be excited for Ark 2, but Vin Diesel also says the “best game out right now” is Ark: Survival Evolved. It’s probably a good job the latter is free on Steam at the moment.
Are you a real gamer?
If you’re a real gamer, you must be excited for Ark 2 according to Vin Diesel on Instagram, a statement that has several ResetEra members handing in their real gamer cards. In all seriousness, there has been very little of the game shown since its reveal at The Game Awards in 2020 except for a trailer showing Vin Diesel’s character Santiago riding a dinosaur with his daughter, which isn’t leaving players much to go on. We do know the game will be coming to Xbox Game Pass at some point during the first six months of 2023, though. You can see the full statement, which is not a parody, below:
“The best game out right now is Ark Survival Evolved… my son introduced me to the game many years back. Then wildcard and all of the genius over there asked me to shepherd the IP into the TV and Film space… an honor I can’t begin to describe.
Any real gamer is excited for Ark 2.!!!
But I am excited for you all to see the franchise unfold on the big screen. Stay tuned.
All love, always.”
Those of you wanting to check out “the best game out right now”, Ark: Survival Evolved, can benefit from a current offer for PC gamers. Ark is free on Steam right now alongside several of its DLCs, such as the Lost Island, Fjordur, Valguero, Ragnarok, The Center, and Crystal Isles expansion maps. However, Ark: Ultimate Survivor Edition is not free at the moment, nor is the Ark: Ultimate Survivor upgrade. Those looking to install the game need to be aware that the game is quite big, taking up 328.49 GB between the game and its free DLC add-ons.
In other news, Pokemon voice actor Billy Kametz has died at the age of 35 after a short illness. Elsewhere, God of War Ragnarok could be delayed into 2023 according to the latest chapter of the ongoing saga.
