Chillingo Founders Part Ways With EA

Chris Byatte and Joe Wee, the founders of Chillingo, have left Electronic Arts.

For those that don't know, Chillingo is the company responsible for bringing to market hit mobile titles like the super adorable Cut the Rope. The news of the founders' departure comes by way of MCV, and unfortunately the reason for its departure is currently a mystery.

This certainly makes one question what's going on over at Electronic Arts, as over the past few days we've seen not only the co-founders of Criterion Games part ways with the mega-publisher, but the leads over at Popcap as well.

Could all these consecutive departures just be a coincidence, or is something fishy going on at EA? Share your theories in the comments below.
