Valve’s Steam Machines Partners Revealed, Here’s The Confirmed List So Far

A whole bunch of third-party boxes are being constructed specifically to run Valve's forthcoming Linux-powered SteamOS, and CES 2014 will blow the lid off of all this exciting hardware.

Engadget has a list of twelve confirmed partners that will be making Steam Machines. They are as follows:

  • Falcon Northwest
  • iBuyPower
  • CyberPowerPC
  • Origin PC
  • Gigabyte
  • Materiel.net
  • Webhallen
  • Alternate
  • Next
  • Zotac
  • Scan Computers

So far iBuyPower has revealed its Steam Machine (pictured above) which will be priced at $500, as reported by The Verge. It comes packed with a "multicore AMD CPU and a discrete AMD Radeon R9 270 graphics card" along with Valve's fancy new Steam controller.
