Two Point Campus Release Date Pushed

Two Point Campus Release Date Pushed, Xbox Game Pass Day One Launch Delayed

Publisher Sega and developer Two Point Studios have announced that the Two Point Campus release date has been pushed back three months from the prior intended date of May 17 to August 9. The game had been slated to have a Day One launch on Microsoft’s Game Pass for both Xbox and PC, but that date has been subsequently pushed in turn.

Why was the Two Point Campus release date moved?

In a statement the developer has posted on the official Two Point Campus website, the purpose of the delay was to ensure a quality game on all platforms:

“Our ambition from the start has been to release Two Point Campus across all PC and console platforms simultaneously to the quality and standard that our community expects from us. This means we will need a little bit more time with Two Point Campus to make sure we deliver the best possible game that can be enjoyed equally on all platforms.”

Paired with the statement for the delay is a developer diary (posted above) where Two Point Studios shows off the whacky vision for the game.

As an offshoot extension of Two Point Hospital, Two Point Campus is a building simulation where you create a university from the ground up and need to ensure that your students are kept happy. In a bit of silly nonsense, you can create classes about gastronomy and knighthood, help students fall in love, and lay down paths in whatever layout that you want.

Two Point Studios still plans to release Two Point Campus on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X, Xbox One, Switch, and PC via Steam, along with Game Pass for console and PC. Those who own Two Point Hospital will get extra cosmetics if they pre-order Two Point Campus.

In other news, Halo Infinite has modified the rules for Sudden Death in Capture the Flag battles, and The Witcher 4 will be using Unreal Engine 5 instead of CD Projekt’s in-house engine for Cyberpunk 2077.
