The Ghostwire Tokyo Xbox release date may have been leaked, along with the date it’s going on Game Pass, and it might be a full year after the exclusive release on PS5 and PC. The good news for PlayStation and PC players is that the Ghostwire Tokyo PS5 release date has also been leaked and is actually really soon — less than two months away, in fact, and it sounds like it will get more details revealed officially soon in press reviews.
The Ghostwire Tokyo release date has leaked
The Ghostwire Tokyo release date on PS5 and PC may well be March 24, 2022, according to a leaked preview of the game and an accidental posting on PSN in January.
By the sounds of the leak, press previews may be coming soon, and a number of details about the still-mysterious horror game were revealed. The main character may be a Japanese man named Akito who working to free Tokyo from Yokai spirits that have invaded the city. It sounds like he will have a spirit possessing him that gives him elemental powers, similar to Talion in Middle-Earth: Shadow of War.
Presumably, official details will drop soon, but Ghostwire Tokyo will still go down as an interesting release — as it was negotiated as a PS5 and PC exclusive despite being published by the Microsoft-owned Bethesda, so is in a similar situation to last year’s fantastic Deathloop. Hopefully the release date situation will be confirmed soon, at least.

What is the Ghostwire Tokyo Xbox release date on Xbox Series X and Game Pass?
Ghostwire Tokyo will release around March 23, 2023, on Xbox Series X and on Game Pass for Xbox and PC, if this leak is accurate. Despite being on PC first and being published by Microsoft, the publisher probably won’t release it on PC Game Pass until it comes to Xbox too.
