A possible Fortnite Hawkeye skin may have been datamined, which if true will likely mean that there’s a leaked tie-in to the Hawkeye Disney Plus series that is currently playing on the streaming service. This possible datamine comes via prolific and trusted Fortnite leaker Shiina and indicates some sort of S.H.I.E.L.D. set coming to Epic’s battle royale. If true, a Fortnite x Hawkeye collab seems the most likely result, given the timing, but will it come before Chapter 3 kicks off?
Is there a Fortnite Hawkeye skin release date?
At the moment there is no certainty whether the Hawkeye skin is even happening but if so it will definitely hit before Christmas, so will either be the last collab of Chapter 2 Season 8, or one of the first of Season 3. The Hawkeye TV series is playing now on Disney Plus and concludes on December 22, so any Fortnite crossovers will have to happen before then. It’s possible Fortnite could add Hawkeye now before Chapter 2’s The End event starts, or Epic and Marvel may decide to wait until the start of Chapter 3 on December 6.
This information comes from a datamine by Fortnite leaker @ShiinaBR on Twitter, who uncovered a new string pointing at a S.H.I.E.L.D. set. Given Hawkeye was in S.H.I.E.L.D. and the TV series is happening right now, it seems likely this is indicating a new Marvel collab. It’s possible a S.H.I.E.L.D. set could be a bundle of Hawkeye and Black Widow, who is already in the game and whose movie last Summer helped set up the Hawkeye series. Fans will just have to wait and see.

If Hawkeye is coming in Chapter 3 next month he probably won’t be the only Marvel hero getting a Fortnite collab, as Spider-Man has also been pretty much leaked for a tie-in with the No Way Home movie launching on December 15-17. If Hawkeye collab comes before The End event that will mean he is the last crossover character of Chapter 2, beating out the long-teased Naruto collab.
