CoD: Vanguard players are equipping developer clan tags

Call of Duty: Vanguard players are masquerading in-game as developers from Sledgehammer Games, Infinity Ward, and Raven Software. Users are editing their clan tags to gain dev team prefixes, all of which appear before their names in online multiplayer lobbies. Getting red clan tags or the SHG logo is quick and easy, so, naturally, they’re quickly spreading amongst the CoD: Vanguard player base.

Utilizing developer clan tags in Call of Duty: Vanguard is generally just a fun way for players to express their favorite studio, or simply add some style to their nameplates. There is the potential for abuse to occur, however, in the event that users pretend to be official employees of any studio.

With that in mind, it’s possible that Activision will launch a CoD: Vanguard update, patch, or hotfix to address the issue soon. If that happens, players will no longer be able to use red clan tags on any platform.

In other Call of Duty: Vanguard news, a new leak points towards Indiana Jones and Captain America skins. On the topic of cosmetics, it’s possible to use a glitch that instantly unlocks endgame gun camos.

While the above exploit is mostly beneficial, this OP Bayonet loadout is causing many players headaches.
