Forza Horizon 5 features a ton of in-game unlockables for earning experience and leveling up. While reaching top rank legit shouldn’t feel like a grind, owing to the game’s quality, some users are choosing to speed up the process anyway. By utilizing the Forza Horizon 5 Goliath glitch, players can level up without actively playing the game. This AFK XP farming method takes a bit of setting up, though is ultimately the quickest, easiest, and best way to level up fast in FH5 on Xbox and PC.
Forza Horizon 5 Goliath Glitch: How to AFK farm infinite experience points
Here’s how to perform the Forza Horizon 5 Goliath glitch to earn XP while AFK and level up fast:
- Get a fast car with good downforce.
- Unlock “The Goliath” race through natural progression.
- Navigate to Settings > Difficulty and change the following options:
- Drivatar Difficulty — Tourist
- Steering — Auto-Steering
- Traction Control — On
- Optional: Unlock the “Show Me What You Got” perk in the Car Mastery tab to increase XP gain by 20%.
- Select The Goliath race, then Create Blueprint in the Event Lab tab.
- Choose Anything Goes, then the Open option.
- Pick Event Settings, then increase the number of laps (max it out at 50 if going to work, school, or bed).
- Hit Publish, then launch the race and select the appropriate vehicle.
- Plug the controller in to avoid any potential disconnections.
- Place a rubber band around the controller to depress and hold the right trigger (RT).
After following the above steps, the race will play itself and rack up around 40,000 XP per lap, with each lap taking approximately 10 to 11 minutes. It’s an insanely quick and easy way to level up fast in Forza Horizon 5 on Xbox Series X, Series S, Xbox One, and PC.

Although it might feel like an exploit, this method actually utilizes intentional accessibility options. As a result, Playground Games might choose not to launch a Forza Horizon 5 Goliath glitch update, patch, or hotfix in the future.
