Rockstar’s Grand Theft Auto V Adds Deathmatch And Race Creation Suites To GTA Online, Now Available For Download

Rockstar dropped the Deathmatch and Race Creators update on Grand Theft Auto V players all around the world today, whether you've gotten sick of GTA Online or not.

The new content creation suites bring user-generated content for Grand Theft Auto on consoles to consumers for the first time, even though fans have been having fun modding Grand Theft Auto IV and other PC GTA releases for years. Players can now create their own maps for the following GTA Online modes:

  • Deathmatch
  • Team Deathmatch
  • Race
  • GTA Race
  • Rally Race

In order to access the Creator suite, first press pause to open up the menu. Then, navigate left or right to the Online tab, then select Creator from within. That's when players get to check out a short tutorial before getting elbow deep with options.

Custom deathmatch maps allow you to place spawn points, weapons, vehicles, ramps, and cover. To build a custom race, you first need to complete the tutorial on land races. After that you'll be able to craft air and sea races as well. Rockstar's favorite custom deathmatches and races will be gathered under the Rockstar Verified banner.

Perhaps the most important update to Grand Theft Auto V comes at the bottom of the Creator list, but I can't wait to run inside my virtual apartment. Finally! If you've created a custom match in GTA Online, share with the rest of the GR community in user Psuedo's forum thread.
