Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl leaks release date and four new fighters

The Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl release date has been leaked, and from a pretty trustworthy source: Nintendo. The game’s eShop page has been updated with what seems to be the full release date, before Nickelodeon or the developer could reveal it, along with the Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl install size. Outside of Nintendo, though, the full cover has leaked too, revealing four major new fighters. Here’s all the details.

What is the Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl release date?

Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl release date

The release date for Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl is October 5, 2021.

The launch date for the Nickelodeon Smash Bros-style fighting game was leaked by Nintendo on the game’s updated eShop page along with a price of $49.99 — ten dollars less than the price of Super Smash Bros Ultimate. That’s not the only thing that the Nintendo page reveals, either, as the game’s file size is listed too.

What is the Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl install size?

The Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl file size is just 2.9 GB, according to Nintendo. This may vary across systems, but regardless, this is an incredibly low install size for a game in 2021. Super Smash Bros Ultimate, for example, comes in at 16.7 GB.

What are the four Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl new fighters?

The four new fighters leaked for Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl include:

  • Aang (Avatar: The Last Airbender)
  • Korra (The Legend of Korra)
  • Ren (Ren and Stimpy)
  • Stimpy (Ren and Stimpy)

These new characters were confirmed by a leak of the game’s cover art. These can be added to the 14 fighters initially revealed for the game in July, as well as the announcement of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles’ April O’Neil and CatDog during Gamescom last month. Currently then, there are 20 fighters now known for Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl, with others still possible to come. Doug, Jimmy Neutron, Fairly OddParents, and Angry Beavers are big Nickelodeon shows with no representation in the game, and it seems unlikely that just Michelangelo and Leonardo would feature and not Raphael or Donatello.
