Rumors have begun to circulate that Jurassic World Evolution 2 will be revealed at E3 2021, thanks to some teasing tweets from a few official sources. The official Jurassic World Twitter account sent out a highly teasing shot of what appears to be the movie’s Indominus Rex in a new Jurassic World game. However, it’s most likely JWE2 will not be at E3, at least if the game’s developers are telling the truth.
Why Jurassic World Evolution 2 won’t be at E3 2021
All the rumors about Jurassic World Evolution 2 or a different new Jurassic Park game started yesterday thanks to a big tease on the official @JurassicWorld Twitter account, showing a picture of the movie’s I-Rex through leaves. The shot is clearly CGI but isn’t at the same level of near-realistic effects as a movie budget, so it does appear to be from a good-quality video game engine.

Fans leapt to the conclusion that this was a tease for Jurassic World Evolution 2 at E3 2021, a possibility backed up by the fact that the game’s developer Frontier will be at the event. There was then a further tease thanks to a reply from the official Jurassic World: The Game account @JWorldTheGame — a mobile game, not Evolution — which gave the classic staring eyes emoji.

However, the Jurassic World Evolution team at Frontier has previously shot down this rumor and says that the team will not be showing anything at E3. The good news, though, is that they confirm that they will have more news about a new Jurassic World game coming later this year. Jurassic World Evolution 2 may release alongside the next movie, Jurassic World: Dominion, which is down for a year from now in June 2022.
Hi Joshua,
We know the community is very excited, but we're not quite ready to share anything just yet. We will have more news later this year.
