New Call of Duty: Warzone update adds Die Hard location and nerfs Stopping Power

The Call of Duty: Warzone 1.37 update patch notes have been revealed, with a number of changes coming to the battle royale mode today, May 19. The new Warzone update makes a significant change to the Verdansk map, introducing a point-of-interest inspired by the first Die Hard movie. What’s more, developer Raven Software is nerfing Stopping Power.

Nakatomi Plaza: New Warzone Point of Interest

Experience the intense combat seen in the original Die Hard movie by visiting Nakatomi Plaza in the Downtown area of Verdansk.

Rambo Encampments: New Warzone Point of Interest

Encampments similar to those seen in the first Rambo movie can be found around the Verdansk map.

Stopping Power Nerf

Stopping Power has been nerfed to be less effective.

The above patch notes are but a preview of the full list which will hopefully be revealed shortly after the patch goes live. In addition to the above changes, players can expect to see bug fixes and weapon balance changes implemented.

Once the new Warzone update is live, the majority of players will no doubt be dropping on Nakatomi Plaza. Expect to see a lot of action atop the infamous building.

In Black Ops Cold War, Gunfight Tournament players have been suffering from a bug that robs users of their wins. Elsewhere in the battle royale space, a new LMG has been data mined for Apex Legends. Captain Marvel actor, Brie Larson, confirms that she plays Fortnite and has her own bundle in the Store.
