Robin Playable in Batman: Arkham City

The third character to take up the identity, Tim Drake as Robin has been confirmed as a playable character in Batman: Arkham City via press release by Warner Bros. and DC Entertainment. Everyone in North America who pre-orders the game from Best Buy will receive the Tim Drake Robin pack for free on their preferred platform.

Robin will come complete with his own unique gadgets and special moves, and will be playable in all challenge maps in the game, as well as two additional challenge maps that are included with the pack – Black Mask Hideout and Freight Train Escape.  The pack will also contain a bonus Red Robin character skin.

It remains to be seen how close to the comics Tim Drake will be, beyond his use of a bo staff. His comprehensive deduction skills and computer knowhow should set him apart from the other choices for Robin. This also widens the possibility for Nightwing as a possible playable character as well, but forget I just said anything…
