NBA 2K21 1.07 Update Patch Notes

New NBA 2K21 update reportedly doesn’t fix daily login rewards

The new NBA 2K21 1.07 update has landed, though player reports indicate that it doesn’t fix one of the game’s most prominent issues. Patch 1.07 is available to download now, including various bug fixes and stability improvements, but there’s reportedly no solution to the more pressing NBA 2K21 daily login glitch.

Players across PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch can grab the NBA 2K21 1.07 update right now. 2K Games hasn’t revealed the full patch notes yet, though early user reports do indicate some of the changes.

  • The Park seasonal event removed.
  • Badge glitch fixed.
  • Classic shoot meter returns.
  • General bug fixes and stability improvements.

Although users have reported the above changes, it’s worth keeping in mind that they haven’t been confirmed by 2K at the time of writing.

What makes for more interesting reading, however, is what the patch apparently doesn’t address. Ever since the launch of NBA 2K21, many players have had trouble claiming their daily login rewards. By logging in to play NBA 2K21 on a daily basis, users should earn VC (Virtual Currency) to spend on in-game rewards. In many cases, though, that doesn’t happen.

Prioritizing comparatively minor fixes over the NBA 2K21 daily login bug has caused some irritation within the game’s community. The author of one Reddit thread labeled the developers as “money-hungry” following the reported omission. VC is otherwise purchasable using real money via microtransactions.

We’ll amend this article when 2K Games publishes the official NBA 2K21 update 1.07 patch notes. Unfortunately, however, it doesn’t look like a daily VC login bonus fix will be amongst the list of changes.
