Microsoft was already planning on adding Bugsnax and Unsouled to Xbox Game Pass today, but there was a third title they’d failed to mention. NBA 2K22 is a surprise addition to Xbox Game Pass and will be available for both Xbox series X|S and Xbox One consoles.
When will NBA 2K22 be added to Xbox Game Pass?
NBA 2K22 was added to Xbox Game Pass today, April 28. The game is currently in the middle of Season 6 where players are battling to win the Larry O’Brien Trophy, the most coveted trophy in the galaxy. After heading into space, players will need to complete challenges to win exclusive rewards like the Bunny Suit, lightning BMX, and wardrobe apparel. MyTeam also got 99 overall Dark Matter reward cards that add new ways to upgrade. As can be expected, all online and offline modes will be available too.
Bugsnax, Unsouled, and NBA 2K22 are expected to be the final games to be added to Xbox Game Pass in April. Microsoft is yet to release a list of games due to join the service during the first half of May, but we do know of several titles that are due to launch into Game Pass on day one. Loot River will launch on May 3, while both Citizen Sleeper and Trek to Yomi will be released on May 5. A few days later, This War of Mine: Final Cut and Eiyuden Chronicle: Rising will be added to the service on May 10. The final game we know about right now won’t be joining Game Pass until the second half of the month; Floppy Knights releases on May 24.
In other news, Balan Wonderworld director Yuji Naka claims he was removed from the project several months before it was released and this is why the game was unfinished. Elsewhere, Elon Musk’s acquisition of Twitter hasn’t gone down well with “Elon Musk delete twitter” trending for a couple of reasons.
