SteelSeries Aerox 3 Ultralight mouse revealed with wired and wireless options

SteelSeries has revealed its new Aerox 3 mice. It comes in two variants: wired and wireless. The main selling points are the light weight and competitive price point, combined with the wireless option.

Earlier lightweight mouse options forced PC users to endure a wired experience, but they have since evolved to be both light and wireless. SteelSeries is throwing its hat into the ring with the Aerox 3 Wireless at $99.99. Those who don’t mind a cable can save a buck by getting the wired Aerox 3 for $59.99.

A common downside of wireless mice is the need to recharge the battery. The Aerox 3 Wireless is capable of fast-charging using USB-C, with users able to get 40+ hours of battery life in 15 minutes.

The Aerox 3 Wireless also uses a brand-new sensor, the TrueMove Air, which is designed specifically for great wireless performance. What’s more, this mouse is also the first gaming mouse to receive an IP54 rating for water resistance and protection for dust, dirt, oil, and more.

The Aerox 3 Wireless and wired versions will be available on November 10 at SteelSeries.com and Best Buy.
