Aonuma Teases Majora’s Mask Remake… Again

The Legend of Zelda series producer Eiji Aonuma has decided to tease Majora's Mask fans once again by hinting that formal news of a remake of the Nintendo 64 classic is on the not too distant horizon.

In a Q&A on Facebook, Aonuma replied to fans' request for a Majora's Mask 3DS remake by saying:

I see many of you have been asking about a remake of Majora's Mask for Nintendo 3DS. It's nice to see such a strong response to this title and we haven't forgotten about Link's adventures in that world.  If you play A Link Between Worlds, you may better understand what I mean by that.

Might this mean that the Majora's Mask story is somehow linked (see what I did there?) to that of A Link Between Worlds? We already know the iconic mask will be making an appearance in the upcoming 3DS entry (see image above), but to what end remains unknown.
