Hello Games The Last Campfire PS4 release date

Hello Games’ The Last Campfire surprisingly launches on PS4 tomorrow

Hello Games has followed suit with many other game developers and made a surprise announcement: The Last Campfire PS4 release date is August 27, 2020 — and it might not be too long before it’s on other platforms, too.

“For the last few years a couple of members of the team had that opportunity to work on something more hand-crafted for PlayStation, a game called The Last Campfire,” read a PlayStation Blog post by Hello Games’ Sean Murray. “It’s a game about loss, hope[,] and empathy. You play as Ember, a lost soul in a charming but dark world. On your path[,] you find others like you, some of whom have lost their way and turned forlorn. It’s up to you as a player to choose who to help.”

That same PlayStation Blog post also announced The Last Campfire PS4 release date. Amazingly, it’s tomorrow — you’ll be able to play this game on PS4 starting on August 27, 2020.

As for the other platforms, that’s a little unclear. Gaming industry tweeter Nibel (and others) indicate that it should be coming to other platforms like PC, Apple Arcade, and Nintendo Switch, but those store pages don’t have active listings at the time of writing.

In any case, at least one platform can check out this new title from Hello Games starting tomorrow. Have a gander at some PS4 developer commentary below and get hyped for this adorable adventure arriving tomorrow!
