Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning gets a PC release date and new expansion

Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning PC release date has finally been announced, and that’s not all — believe it or not, this revived role-playing game is getting a new expansion after years of dormancy.

A press release from THQ Nordic has announced that the Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning PC release date is September 8, 2020. The game will be making its way to other platforms as well, of course — PS4 and Xbox One are slated for a release — but the most surprising revelation is that a new expansion is on the way.

Kingdoms of Amalur: Fatesworn will continue the adventures of players in the world of Amalur. Unfortunately, that’s all we know about this upcoming expansion that’s slated for a 2021 release.

Kingdoms of Amalur was originally released back in 2012 for the previous generation of consoles. It enjoyed a decent critical reception, but the studio behind the game eventually filed for bankruptcy and closed down. THQ Nordic picked up the rights to the IP in 2018.

For now, you can add this game to your wishlist on Steam. You’ll be able to enjoy this revived RPG on the Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning PC release date of September 8, 2020.
