Xbox Games Showcase date and time 2020

Xbox Games Showcase date and time revealed

The Xbox Games Showcase date and time has finally been revealed after weeks of speculation. The July 2020 Xbox Series X event will be here in just a few short weeks, and it promises to show off a bunch of next-gen gameplay for Microsoft’s upcoming console.

The show is scheduled to kick off on July 23, 2020, starting at 9:00 AM PDT / 12:00 PM EDT. A pre-show featuring Geoff Keighley will premier an hour earlier as part of the Summer Game Fest, a months-long event that will debut the latest and greatest games over the course of the Summer.

It’s possible that this event may herald the reveal of a new console, too — the Xbox Series S has long been rumored to be in the works. An announcement of this new budget-friendly console was rumored to have been postponed, so this upcoming event would be a good opportunity to give it a proper reveal.

Either way, you’ll be sure to see a bunch of next-gen goodness when this event properly launches. The Xbox Games Showcase date and time is July 23, 2020, starting at 12:00 PM Eastern Time. You’ll be able to watch the show on the official Xbox YouTube and Twitch channels, but all the cool kids will be watching our coverage on the Game Revolution Twitch channel.
